House removals in London

Moving straight from one London home to another? Use our domestic removals request. Tell us the addresses, furniture, boxes and date, along with anything that affects access. If your belongings need a stop in storage, use the storage form instead so the collection and later delivery can be reviewed together.

YOUR JOURNEY

What needs to happen?
  1. London collection
  2. Storage if needed
  3. Your next address

PLAN YOUR REQUEST

A direct move or a stop in storage

The domestic form is for a direct move without storage. For a journey into or out of a unit, use the storage form and tell us whether the space is already booked. If there will be a gap between homes, explain which dates are fixed. An unknown return address can be discussed, but it needs confirming before that delivery is booked.

Help us understand the size of the move

Start with the property size and the furniture you are taking. Include beds, sofas, wardrobes, appliances and a rough number of boxes. Mention sheds, lofts or other spaces with items to collect. The contents matter more than the bedroom count alone, particularly if you have bulky furniture or a lot of packed belongings.

Packing and furniture preparation

Tell us if you want help with packing or dismantling furniture so it can be considered in the quote. Label boxes with the room they belong in and keep essential items separate. If you are packing yourself, ask what needs to be ready before collection. Do not assume a packing service is included in a transport quotation.

Access at both homes

At each address, tell us the floor, stairs, working lifts and where a vehicle can stop. A flat or apartment building may require a lift booking or have a separate loading entrance. Mention narrow doorways and furniture that may need taking apart. Give the same details to each moving company when comparing prices so you are comparing the same job.

If your moving date changes

Give your preferred date, or choose the unknown-date option if it is still being decided. Let us know about a key handover or other deadline affecting collection. If plans change after you have a quotation, contact the team with your reference so availability and any revised arrangements can be checked.

What happens after the enquiry?

We review your belongings, addresses, access and timing, then contact you about the quote. Ask what is included, what you need to prepare and what happens if the dates change. Confirm the booking terms and agreed work before treating the move as booked. Submitting a request does not reserve a vehicle or a storage unit.

Keep the essentials separate from the load

Put keys, medication, chargers and the documents you need that day in a bag you keep with you. Label boxes by room so the delivery is easier to organise. Check whether beds or other furniture need dismantling, and agree who will do it. Tell the team about items added after the quote, since extra furniture or boxes may change the vehicle space and work required.

An example enquiry

You are moving from a first-floor flat to a house. Add both postcodes, note whether there is a lift, estimate the furniture and boxes, and explain the vehicle access. Use the unknown-date option if the key handover is not settled.

Use this example as a guide to the details you can include in your own request.
