This notice explains the information collected through the ASelfStorage enquiry forms. The website is operated by OneMove Limited.
What you send us
The quote forms collect your name, email address, telephone number, locations, belongings, dates and moving or storage requirements. Depending on the request, you can include a company name, access needs, an estimated goods value, photographs or an inventory. A contact message contains the question and contact details you enter.
How an enquiry is handled
Your request is saved in our enquiry system and emailed to the team handling it. A copy or confirmation may be sent to the address you provide. The team uses these details to respond, clarify the work and discuss your quotation.
Protecting the forms
The application records the submission time, source page, IP address and browser information for enquiry handling and protection against automated or inappropriate submissions. Our forms also use a security check. The verification provider and optional postcode assistance are explained below.
Sending documents and following up
Only attach material needed to explain the job, such as an inventory or item photographs. Keep payment information, passwords, unit access codes, identity documents and confidential case records out of the public forms. If a detail is wrong after you submit, contact the team with your reference and explain what needs correcting.
Questions about your information
Contact email us or use our contact page to ask about information held in your enquiry, its retention or who needs it to arrange the requested service. You can ask to see your information, correct details or discuss deletion and other data protection rights. The response depends on the request and applicable requirements.
If you are concerned about how your information has been handled, contact us. You can also read the Information Commissioner's Office guidance on making a data protection complaint.
Optional postcode suggestions
Our UK forms use Postcodes.io to suggest postcodes and help fill in the local area. Our server sends only the postcode text you type to that service, without your name, contact details or other form answers. Your browser does not connect directly to Postcodes.io.
You can edit the suggested area or enter your details yourself. Suggestions describe the local authority area, which may differ from your postal town. The international moving form uses manual entry. A missing suggestion does not stop you sending an otherwise valid request.
Keeping our enquiry forms secure
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect our forms from automated submissions. It checks signals about your browser and connection. The check usually runs in the background, although you may be asked to tick a box.
Our verification request does not include your name, email address or moving and storage answers. Those details are handled through our enquiry system as described above. Cloudflare processes information needed for its security check; you can read more in Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy notice (opens in a new tab).
If you cannot complete the check, please contact our team by phone or email so we can discuss your request.
